About GPS
GPS stands for the Global Positioning System. It is a satellite-based navigation system that provides location and time information in all weather conditions, anywhere where there is a sight to four or more GPS satellites.
The GPS Air Performance test is a field test method. We can recreate any radio environment for any customer needs and test the wearable device, e.g., smartwatch, in laboratory environment. Virtual routes are built by multiple virtual GPS satellites, which simulate the movement in various environments and e.g., weather conditions.
Importance of Testing the GPS Performance
The end user’s satisfaction and safety depends mainly on the GPS performance of their wearable devices. Our reliable field test method allows improving the quality and performance of the product, delivering high-quality results to the clients.
The GPS Air Performance Test in Verkotan
Verkotan is offering fast, accurate and reliable GPS performance testing. Testing time is no more than a one day and the device is tested in repeatable and reliable laboratory settings. There are overall 8 GPS measuring antennas, all of which are involved in creating a specific environment. In addition, while testing, instead of rotating the environment around, we are rotating the model, which ensures more accurate and reliable results.
Verkotan is always happy to provide more detailed information and make a proposal how we can verify the performance of your wireless device in the global environment.
